ATMS 131 Weather &
Climate

Prerequisites: NONE
A non-mathematical introduction to the behavior of the atmosphere
and its causes. Topics include atmospheric structure, earth-sun
relationships, heat, humidity, clouds, wind, storms, forecasting,
pollution and climate. This course is organized to interest students
without scientific background who wish to understand the atmosphere
and weather that surround them. Three hours of lecture per week.
